Guess I should update my Desktop section of the Intel archive sometime. Found this (how I haven't noticed that before during archival is beyond me): Yeah, you will need to flash 0041 before flashing to 0048 -> 0099 -> latest BIOS. Are earlier versions of the BIOS available too? It's entirely possible I'm missing something obvious. Also thinking that higher clock GPUs wont work with this kind of board. It works on lower GPUs like GTS 450 and GTX660. The last two are included in the 61 series download and I have a 0052 from but they all give invalid header errors. The reason why I want to update the BIOS is because the RX580 GPU I bought is not working with it ( no display even from boot ) so Im thinking updating the BIOS will resolve it. Click here to download BIOS versions 0048, 00. If the current BIOS is an older one, such as version 0044, then install BIOS versions 0048, 00 in this order. From what I can gather I'll need 0041 (possibly?), 0048, 00. Download BIOS versions 0048, 00 for Intel DH61DL, DH61CR, DH61BE, DH61WW, DH61ZA, DH61ZE and DH61SA motherboards. I recently bought a cheap DH61WW to test out a batch of 2nd and 3rd gen processors I picked up a while ago, hoping that the BIOS would already have been updated and expecting it to be easy if it hadn't. Thank you to everybody who has contributed.
